Open Saka

Quickstart

Open an example database, ask it a question, and watch the answer change.

Go to app.saka.io. Choose Examples, then Open example on CRM Starter, a made-up sales pipeline. On a phone, Examples is behind the menu button at the top left.

The editor opens with the Declarations sidebar. Choose Views in the rail at the far left, then open crm::Opportunity. Each row is an opportunity, and the columns show its properties, such as amount, name, and stage.

Click New view, the plus button at the top of Views. Type this formula and press ⌘Enter, or Ctrl+Enter on Windows and Linux:

crm::pipeline_by_stage

The grid shows the total amount of the open opportunities in each stage: k is the stage, and v its total. Lead shows 342000.

Press Ctrl+` to open the REPL, on macOS too. Enter:

crm::change_stage("OP-1", :Won)

This marks the opportunity OP-1, worth 1000, as won. The view updates at once: Lead drops to 341000.

Choose Edit → Undo. OP-1 is a lead again, and Lead shows 342000.

Saka keeps databases in your browser’s memory, and closing every Saka tab discards them. To keep this one, choose File → Export Database…; see Databases.
